Official online tryout registration for 2006 to 2014 birth years is open!
-Eligible Birth Years - 2014 - 2006 (11U through High School)

-Tryouts are scheduled for 11U to 15U (2014 to 2010 birth years) on May 4th and 5th at Lynnwood High School.

-Tryouts for High School Girls (2006 to 2009 birth years) will be on May 7th and 9th from 7:30pm to 9:00pm at Lynnwood High School.

-Tryouts for High School Boys (2006 to 2009 birth years) occurred in February. FC Edmonds was only able to field a 2009 HS boys' team. If you are interested in this team, please contact the Director of Coaching.

-Players must register for their specific Birth Year. If the player is interested in playing UP, please contact Tim Jones, [email protected]

-It is recommended that players attend both tryout days to increase the opportunity to demonstrate their skills for the evaluators

-Current FC Edmonds players should NOT wear their uniform or other FCE logo wear.

-Some coaches may have players return for a callback

-Some birth years may have two teams pending numbers & overall talent pool. "Yellow" & "Black". Yellow is the first team, Black the second team.

2024 FC Edmonds Registration

FC Edmonds select program follows the philosophy of our parent organization, Sno-King Youth Club, that "Everyone Gets to Play".

FCE coaches set their own cost schedule based on several factors, including number of tournaments, replacement of equipment and team functions. During the 2023-2024 season the average cost for club registration was $935, with the lowest fee of $850 and the highest $1250. The club fee includes year-around practice on turf fields, typically 3 summer tournaments and one state championship tournament, a 10-game fall season and for non-high Schoolers an 8-game spring season, national player registration, replacement equipment, coaches' licensure, and team functions. FC Edmonds base kit (2 jerseys, shorts, socks and training tee) is $150, and full kit (including warmups and backpack) for $265 is an additional cost. Kits are purchased for a two-year cycle, with 2024-2025 being the second year. Only newly formed teams and players new to the program will need to purchase kits in the 2024-25 playing year.

The FCE playing season is mid-May until late April the following year. FCE recognizes that our children have other activities in their life and makes allowances for those activities, especially outside of the regular soccer season. That said, coaches do appreciate knowing when players have other commitments so they can plan.

FCE has a scholarship program for those families that may not be able to afford the entire cost. In 2023-24 the club was able to award 24 scholarships assisting those that might not have the opportunity to play at a competitive level. A portion of the registration fee goes toward the scholarship program.

All FCE coaches are nationally licensed with many of them holding advanced diplomas/licensure. Coaches are all volunteers. 

Unlike some programs, FC Edmonds endeavors to have all practices at the same field complex (Lynnwood High School) throughout the year. in those instances when an alternate location is used it is still within the Edmonds School District, we understand bouncing from one location to another for weekly practices can cause undue stress on the kids and their families.
