U6 K-Clinic
clin-ic n. A brief group session offering counsel or instruction in a particular field or activity
The U6 K-Clinic is meant to be an introduction to the game of soccer. More than conceptual, this clinic will focus on the basic skills associated with the game; dribbling, kicking, passing. Coaching children under the age of six presents some challenges due to their immaturity, short attention spans, and less developed muscles. For this reason, we introduce the sport in a clinic setting, where practices and games are brief instructionals limited to one hour, once/week (Saturdays only).
Our objective is for all the kids in this clinic to have fun, make friends, and learn some of the basic skills associated with the game of soccer. Introducing these skills in such an environment, we hope, will keep them playing and help them should they decide to continue to the next level.
