REGISTRATION (Returning/Transfer Players from FALL 2007):

*Returning Player Registration will run May 7^th  – 27^th) to guarantee placement on the same team from fall 2007.  Registrations received after 5pm May 27^th will be processed after the rush on Open Player Registration Day (May 29^th)

*We will not be accepting any registrations  on May 28^th, the day between Returning and Open Player Registration, so we can finalize rosters prior to adding new players. 

Transfer Players: If a player wants to transfer to a different team (and played soccer with SKYC/SKSC in fall of 2007), he/she must fill out a Player Movement form available online at skyc.net (under “Special Forms” on the homepage) and it will be processed the night before Open Registration. That player will go on the team he/she requested to be transferred to if there is room. If there is not room he/she will go back on his/her fall 2007 team unless a request is made on the transfer form otherwise.

**If we do not have a birth certificate or valid passport on file, we must receive it prior to Open Registration or you may lose your spot (no hospital certificates can be accepted). If a player played fall soccer 2007 or spring soccer 2008 we may have this paperwork on file and do not need to have it turned in again. Parents: please check with our office and see if we have it on file. While this is a required piece of paperwork, many of our U7s and U8s from last season did not turn this in. We were most stringent about receiving this piece of paperwork from U9s and above, as those age groups are slowly nearing WSYSA sanctioning—when this paperwork will need to be in line per WSYSA rules and regulations, no exceptions.  Players, U9 and up, will not be permitted at games without this piece of paperwork on file at our office. Please send us copies of valid passports/birth certs via fax or in person only. We do not encourage that this piece of paperwork be mailed.

 

 

 

REGISTRATION (New Players) to fall soccer: 

*Open Registration/New Player Registration begins May 29th.  In order to place your child on a team we must verify his/her age with either a birth certificate or valid passport.  NO hospital certificates can be accepted.  This will be kept on file per WSYSA and SKYC/SKSC rules & regulations. If you have a specific team request, please note this on your registration. This is not a guarantee that there is a spot open on your requested team. For this reason, please provide alternate placement preferences on your registration.

    

 

Online Registration:

Online registration at www.skyc.net is the easiest and quickest way to register, or you may come to the office located at 700 Main Street, #111, Edmonds, WA 98020.

If you register online please make sure you receive an email confirmation--if you do not, please contact the office ASAP.  The email confirmation is your receipt of registration, and if you do not receive one, the office may not have as well. No over the phone OR faxed registrations will be accepted. We are open M-F 8:30-5. Copies of birth certificates or valid passports may be faxed or mailed.

 

 

DISCOUNTS/SCHOLARSHIPS:

  Multiple Child discounts are as follows (this is for SKYC, not U11 and up/SKSC):

 1^st and 2^nd child is full price

           3^rd child receives a $30 discount

4^th child is free

**Scholarships are available. This is an in person process only. To obtain a scholarship please come in to register and fill out the necessary paperwork on file at our office.

 

 REFUNDS:

$25 NON-REFUNDABLE PROCESSING FEE IS PART OF OUR REFUND POLICY. Refunds are issued on the 15th and 30th of every month. A Refund Request Form is needed in order to process this request and is available on our homepage under 'Special Forms.' Please reference this form, which outlines our entire refund policy. Contact daylene@skyc.net for assistance, questions, and processing.

 

 OTHER:

*On the first day of registration, in person registrations will be placed first and onliners will be placed after the morning rush.

*New Players who register during the Returning Player registration period will be placed after the morning rush of Open Registration day.

*Trasfers who register online and do not provide follow-up paperwork (Player Movement Form) will be the last transfers added to teams.

*Roster spots will not be held for unpaid players, nor do we provide payment plans.

 

(We do not accept faxed or phoned in registrations, nor do we encourage mailed in registrations).
